Membership Schemes

At the Harrow Health Care Centre we offer all patients a choice of care levels to suit your individual needs. All our membership schemes include:
- Priority access and urgent appointments as appropriate within 24 hours
- Discounted fees on pharmacy Items, pathology tests, and nurse procedures not included in membership fees
- Access to out-of-hours home visits
Scheme One
This is our inclusive service, which is ideal for individuals or families who may need to consult with a doctor or nurse on a frequent basis.
Benefits
- Fifteen free GP consultations per year for an individual member and forty five free GP consultations per year included in a family membership
- No additional charge for Nurse consultations
- Discounted fees for additional GP consultations and Nurse procedures
- Adults who choose this Scheme receive a complementary Annual Health
- Review including one of the following- a cervical or cholesterol screen or a prostate antigen blood test for men over 50
- Children registered on this scheme are entitled to all childhood immunisations and developmental checks
Fees
- Individual Membership Annual fee £675
- Family Membership Annual fee £1,792*
(Covers two adults and children in full-time education)
- Additional 15 minute GP Consultations £50
- Additional 30 minute GP Consultations £90
*If required this fee can be paid by standing order at £154 per month
Scheme Two
This scheme is specially designed for patients aged 40 and over who need occasional care. Family membership is open to two adults and children in full-time education.
Benefits
- Adults who choose this scheme receive a complementary Annual Health Review which we consider to be an essential part of good medical care
- First GP consultation free (First GP consultation for each adult in a family membership)
- Discounted fees for additional GP consultations

- Individual Members (includes one standard consultation p.a.) £203
- Family Membership p.a. (includes children in full-time education) £406
- Standard 15 minute consultation £64
- Extended 30 minute consultation £105
- Developmental checks per child per year £110
Scheme Three
This scheme has been designed for patients under 40 who would like to use us exclusively as their GP for quick and easy access for acute medical problems. Family membership is open to two adults and children in full-time education.
Benefits
- One off membership fee - no further annual individual membership fees until you reach the age of 40 and for family members until one adult reaches 40.
- Adults who choose this scheme receive one initial Health Review as part of our registration process
- Discounted GP consultation fee rates

Home Visits
In Surgery Hours
Mondays to Thursdays 8am to 8pm Fridays 8am to 6pm and Saturdays 9am-12 noon £135
Out of Hours
Between 10pm and 8am £200
At all other times including on Bank Holidays £160
The decision to offer home visits to patients who live outside the "Core Catchment Area" and the fee for these visits will be made at the Doctor's discretion.

We recognise that some Members will also continue to use an NHS GP for certain services and to ensure that we can provide you with the best possible care it is important that we are kept aware of this fact and can maintain clear communication with NHS GPs in such situations.
