Homeopathy is an alternative form of medicine which has been used for over 200 years. Treatment is individualised and focuses on the person as a whole not just the disorder with which they present. Homeopathic remedies work on the principle of treating like with like, using active ingredients which are highly diluted.
Patients with serious medical conditions should always consult a doctor, but homeopathy may be used in addition to conventional medicine.
Patients who wish to discuss homeopathy may choose to consult with either Jane Gathercole, who is a registered Homeopath or Dr. Ian Chait, who is a GP and a Partner at our Practice.
Jane qualified in 1998 and is a registered member of the Society of Homeopaths. As well as working at the Harrow Health Care Centre she has an extensive NHS practice.
Dr. Chait is also trained in homeopathy and is a Licentiate of the Faculty of Homeopathy. He integrates homeopathy with conventional medicine and may recommend homeopathic remedies to complement acupuncture or other treatments. For more information about Dr. Chait please click here
