FOOTSCOPE Gait Analysis & Biomechanics Clinic

Pains within the back and lower limbs are very common. These pains are not only caused by sport related actions but can also be due to everyday activities such as walking and standing. In many cases the symptoms can be traced back to joints or muscles functioning inappropriately. Gait analysis is the study of walking and running styles. Biomechanics is the investigation of how joints and muscles function.

FOOTSCOPE offers a full video gait analysis, advanced in-shoe pressure assessment, and issues a comprehensive report for each assessment. If indicated orthotics (specialised shoe inserts) are prescribed and issued. These can range from semi-customised to fully customised devices made from plaster casts of the feet.
